Patient responseto care is reported to a registered nurse for evaluation, interventionand modification of the plan of care. Nursing care is guidedby the physician ord ers and the nursing plan of care. Provide and docum ent direct nursing care of assigned patients under thesupervision of a r egistered nurse or physician. Provides nursing services to patients and famil ies in accordancewith the scope ofthe LPN as defined by the North Carol ina Board ofNursing.
